J.I.D and EarthGang shared the stage in a phenomenal performance this past Saturday in Miami. The Hangar and Swerve hosted The Never Had Sh!t Tour for their South Florida stop and were hit with an amazing turnout by fans.
EarthGang, composed of Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot, brought the energy for the first half of the concert. The dynamic Atlanta duo performed tracks off of their two recent EPs “Rags”, released September 1, 2017 and “Robots”, released just last month. Destin Route, better known as J.I.D, gave his all on the stage with his outstanding flow and swift delivery. He performed his 2017 debut album “The Never Told Story” front to back while fans rapped along to every word, with tracks like ‘General’, ‘NEVER’ and ‘EdEddnEddy’ bringing the most out of the crowd.
Special guests Lute and Chaz French also came out and gave Miami an exuberant introduction, while Broward county’s own Sam Stan opened up for the show. EarthGang and J.I.D ended the night performing their collaborating tracks ‘D/Vision’, ‘Meditate’ and ‘Momma Told Me’. Both newly signed to J. Cole’s Dreamville Records, the Atlanta-native acts have taken the month of November by storm with The Never Had Sh!t Tour, with even more dates just announced.
